A letter from one of our students

Below is a letter one of our Chapter Advisors received from a student involved in their because I said I would Chapter.

“I want to start off by saying thank you for making class very interesting and fun, but I also want to say thank you for how you changed my perspective on how my life should be or how to get my life on the right path. The stories you tell about because I said I would and how they change other people’s lives makes me want to change my ways. I’ve gotten into bad habits recently and not being the best I could be. I honestly don’t have many people I can talk to about my problems. I feel like they wouldn’t understand. Anyways back to the point of what I’m trying to say, is that I want people to teach me on how to be a good leader. I want to set examples for my friends. I want people to see the good in other people, and not the bad. I want to be a better person. Listening to you is making the start of the journey easier, and I just wanted to say thank you again. You try to better people’s lives and try to fix your own and that is a true leader. I’m sorry for making this so long, but I hope everything works out the way you want it to be.”

A special thank you to all of the teachers who help lead our because I said I would high school chapters.
