For the last five years, I have been working to build a career at large software company. I can be very passionate about what I do. Whenever I got a promotion or a raise, my father would be the first person I called. He was very proud of my accomplishments as a professional. Before he died he told me that he wasn’t worried about me. He said he knew I could take care of myself. On March 2nd, I resigned from my full-time job and requested a demotion to a part-time role. I made this choice in order to dedicate more time to Because I said I would. Dad, I know that you would be upset with me right now. Remember that you came to this country with nothing. You found a way to make it work. In my own way, I will do the same. Apples come from apple trees.
